Planning a retreat or conference?
Camp Shady Brook offers the perfect setting for retreats, conferences and company gatherings. Reservations can be made for mid-August through mid-May. You can reserve your spot up to one year in advance. Click here for more info.
Outdoor Environmental Education at Camp Shady Brook

Surrounded by Pike National Forest and sitting on over 160 acres of wildlife, YMCA Camp Shady Brook is the perfect setting to host Outdoor Environmental Education (OEE). Our programs are taught by trained instructors, certified in Project WET/WILD curriculum, who teach OEE with your educational goals in mind. Programs offered can be tailored to meet your specific focus and meet CO state educational guidelines. Whether it's fire ecology, outdoor survival skills or forest ecology and eco-systems, our programs will engage your students and allow them to play an active role in their learning experience. So get out of the classroom and come and experience focused learning outside!
